Shield Environmental Services are a winner in the RoSPA Awards 2016

Shield are delighted to have been successful in the 60th year of the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2016, achieving the Gold award in the prestigious annual scheme run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

The RoSPA Awards are celebrating 60 years of presenting highly-regarded and sought after accolades to businesses and organisations which have shown commitment to accident and ill-health prevention.

It recognises their commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record and raises the bar for other organisations to aspire to. We offer them our congratulations. Ian Hanley, Health and Safety Compliance Manager at Shield Environmental Service comments on the accolade “One of the many goals that I set myself when appointed as the new Health and Safety Compliance Manager for Shield was to be awarded ROSPA Gold. The technical team implement new procedures that helps us analyse our  H&S data and how vital it is to report these findings and action plans for improvements to the company management. Working together we are improving our company’s H&S and this is recognised in this award as it is awards excellence in safety and commitment in raising standards.

For myself as a NEBOSH qualified Health and Safety Compliance Manger, it is a great pride to be recognised with the award.”
