When Asbestos is required to be removed, managed or repaired Shield Environmental Services Ltd have the necessary infrastructure and technical experience to undertake and accommodate both small and large scale asbestos projects throughout the UK and Ireland.

All asbestos projects are undertaken in accordance with current UK Legislation and Asbestos Regulations, Health & Safety Executive (HSE) Approved Codes of Practice and Guidance Notes.

Rigorous internal and external auditing of our asbestos operations on site ensures all safety & quality control requirements are achieved and maintained.

Our approach to the removal and disposal of asbestos is thoroughly planned and proactively managed, so that any disruption to our clients is kept to a minimum.

We work with numerous high profile clients on nationwide projects, many of which are set in challenging work environments, including historic and listed buildings, petrochemical facilities, MOD sites and marine vessels.

Shield Environmental Services Ltd holds a full Asbestos Removal License issued by the HSE.

Shield Environmental Services Ltd is a full member of the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA) and The Asbestos Control and Abatement Division (ACAD) which promotes best practice in the UK's asbestos removal industry.

Successful management of H&S is an absolute priority within Shield Environmental Services’ management systems, which includes a practicable and achievable H&S Policy to ensuring, so far as is reasonably practicable:

Responsibility for providing the appropriate safe working environment and determining the procedures necessary for the promotion of health and safety at work rests with management.

All matters concerning health and safety will be implemented after full consultation with our employees through representatives of employee safety and the H&S Committee.
