Shield to be awarded the RoSPA Gold Award for 2011

Shield Environmental Services are being awarded the prestigious RoSPA Gold award for 2011 at the Occupational Health and Safety Awards ceremony on the 18th May at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel. The ceremony will take place alongside Safety & Health Expo 2011 being held at the NEC, Europe's leading annual health and safety exhibition.
The RoSPA Awards scheme is not only about reducing the number of accidents and cases of ill-health at work; it encourages organisations to develop robust health and safety management systems.
David Rawlins, RoSPA's awards manager, said: “RoSPA firmly believes that organistions that have demonstrated their commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention deserve recognition. Shield Environmental Services has shown that it is committed to striving for such continuous improvement and we are delighted to honour it through the presentation of an award”
