Shield Environmental Services were delight to support 14 members of staff from the Bristol Children’s hospital as they embarked on a 10km run through the Bristol city centre on the 15^th May to raise money for the Emergency Department. All funds raised will be used to purchase much need distraction toys and equipment that are required to help children cope with the stress and trauma caused by having invasive procedures carried out.

 Many participants had personal targets to achieve and had been training hard for weeks leading up to the run all with the goal of completing the circuit within one hour which nine were able to achieve.

 SES Technical Manager, Jon House stated “It is great to see such spirit and commitment by the team at Bristol Children’s Hospital. We were only too happy to support this worthy cause and help them achieve their desired goals”
