Shield Sponsor Tree Planting at Brookside Community Primary School
July 27, 2010 at 3:28 PM

As part of Shield Environmental Services (SES) commitment to promoting biodiversity and in an endeavour to educated children on the importance of environmental awareness, we have recently undertaken a tree planting at Brookside Community Primary School in Street.
Karen Spencer from SES commented "I believe that the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience of planting a tree, for them it will be an important memory of their final year of primary school and a lasting contribution that they have made for future generations. The planted trees will not only be a learning resource, but will serve a practical purpose to protect children from the sun and help support their Forest School activities".
As an organisation SES is committed to reducing our environmental footprint and will continue to seek opportunities to improve the environment in which we live by supporting organisations such as Tree Appeal.
