Shield Contracts Manager, Matt Thorne is donning his running shoes in support of Mesothelioma UK and competing in the Taunton 10k run on Sunday the 25^th September endeavouring to raise money in aid of this great cause.

Mesothelioma UK is a resource centre dedicated to providing specialist Mesothelioma information, support, improving care and treatment for people affected by Mesothelioma.

Mesothelioma UK provides education to health care professional's through numerous training and educational events, regular news bulletins, have established a National Mesothelioma Nurse Action Team and generally support health care teams in the management of Mesothelioma patients. 

Their services are free of charge and rely totally on donations to the Mesothelioma UK Charitable Trust for financial support.

• Mesothelioma study day and conference participation for healthcare professionals
• Action Mesothelioma Day Communication and Co-ordination
• Mesothelioma Nurse Action Team (M-NAT)
• Mesothelioma Community of Practice for M-NAT members
