Job Description:

As part of the strategic growth of Shield Environmental Services, We are currently recruiting Asbestos Surveyors in the following regions: East Anglia, North & South London, Bristol, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent, Wiltshire, Dorset, Cornwall, Birmingham and West Midlands. As one of the UKs leading asbestos management service providers is seeking to employ a self-motivated individuals to work within an expanding surveying division.  

Salary: Competitive, depending upon experience

Reporting to:  Asbestos Surveying Manager - Bristol

A company vehicle will be provided

20 days holiday pa, plus statutory holidays

Hours - 7.30am - 4.30pm, Monday-Friday

The Candidate must be/have:

• Punctual, willing and enthusiastic.
• Self Motivated.
• Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Able to prioritise whilst working under pressure.
• Have a good level of computer literacy.
• Flexible with hours of work to cope with the demands of this role.
• Be of smart appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking Management and Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on behalf of the company, and depending upon experience Project Management support.

Qualifications:

Must have held a BOHS or (BIOH) P402 certificate for a minimum of five years (BOHS S301, P405 would be an advantage).

Familiar with working within a UKAS Accredited surveying environment.

Experience of the following would be an advantage: Project Management, Risk Auditing, Technical Supervision of staff, and the Management of asbestos removal projects. 

Accurate submission of reports, specifications of works, and quotations.

Shield Environmental operate an ongoing training program.

Asbestos Surveying Department Auditor- Head Office, Bristol

An experienced auditor is required for our busy asbestos surveying department in Bristol.

Job Description: 

The role will require witness assessments and re-inspection audits to be carried out to individual surveyors with reports compiled following each audit.

A flexible approach is required with the occasional need for assisting with asbestos surveying during busy periods.

Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience.

Reporting to: Asbestos Surveying Technical Manager and Surveying Manger - Bristol.

A company vehicle will be provided.

20 days holiday p.a. plus statutory holidays.

Hours of work 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday- Friday

Required Qualifications: The candidate must have a minimum of five years experience within the asbestos surveying environment. Candidates should be in possession of the BOHS P402 qualification as a minimum, other desirable qualifications include: P405, P406, P407 and S301.
