Under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 ASBESTOS AWARENESS TRAINING IS A MANDATORY LEGAL REQUIREMENT for all of these groups of people who are employed within the construction industry and associated allied trades.

The following Asbestos Training courses have been specifically tailored to ensure that you and your employees are prepared and aware of the requirements when working with or around asbestos containing materials.

Class 2 Asbestos Training

  • General Asbestos Awareness Training (1/2 Day) for employees / operatives.
  • Managing Asbestos in Premises (1 Day) for management.
  • Training of employees for ‘Unlicensed’ asbestos work

Class 1 Asbestos Training (Licensed asbestos work)

  • Asbestos Contracts Management
  • New Asbestos Supervisor
  • New Asbestos Operative
  • Asbestos Supervisors Refresher
  • Asbestos Operatives Refresher
  • Asbestos Scaffolders

All of the above asbestos training coursescan be delivered on site at your own premises, in a suitable training location near your work or in our training offices in Bristol on dates to suit your business requirements.

The above training is be undertaken in accordance with The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006, ACOP Work with material containing asbestos L143.

'Shield Environmental Services have signed up to the HSE Code of Conduct for Asbestos Training Providers so that you can be assured that any Asbestos Training is up to date, of good quality and in accordance with legislation and industry best practice.'
